ABOUT
Erin

Hi, I’m Erin!

Parenting is one of the hardest jobs, and I know this firsthand—not only as a professional, but as a mom. For more than 20 years, I’ve worked alongside families to help them navigate the challenges of raising children with confidence and clarity.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Early Education and have dedicated my career to supporting parents and caregivers through:

  • Personalized coaching tailored to each family’s unique needs.

  • Practical, research-backed strategies that bring real results.

  • A judgment-free approach grounded in compassion and understanding.

Whether you’re tackling tantrums, sleepless nights, or mealtime struggles, I’m here to guide you toward calm, clarity, and connection. Together, we’ll create an actionable plan that works for your family—so you can stop surviving and start thriving.

The Journey That Shaped Me

While I’ve worked with families for over 20 years, my journey has been enriched by experiences that have shaped who I am today.

As a licensed EMT-B, phlebotomist, and EKG technician, I gained unique insights into the importance of understanding children’s health and knowing when to seek additional resources. My background enables me to approach your child’s well-being with both empathy and knowledge.

I’ve also had the privilege of working in private schools, home daycares, and as a private nanny, allowing me to connect with families from diverse backgrounds. Each experience has deepened my understanding of the challenges parents face and broadened my ability to offer tailored solutions.

Working in in-home elder care gave me a profound appreciation for compassionate caregiving. Our elderly population, much like children, often need assistance and patience. Their wisdom taught me invaluable communication skills and further fueled my desire to help others.

One of my greatest passions is rooted in my family’s farm life. As a child, I helped my grandparents raise sheep, care for their health, and process wool through natural methods like dyeing, spinning, and weaving. Today, my family farm is home to beef cattle, chickens, and pigs, along with three acres of gardens producing vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. These experiences have fostered my belief in nature-based living and the importance of connecting with the world around us.

Why I Do This Work

A Personal Passion for Helping Families Thrive

Growing up on a farm and raising my own children has taught me the value of patience, flexibility, and connection. I’ve seen firsthand how nurturing strong family bonds can transform both parents and children, creating homes filled with calm and joy.

Through my years working with families from all backgrounds, I’ve learned that every parent wants the same thing: to feel confident and equipped to help their children grow and thrive. But parenting doesn’t come with a guidebook—and that’s where I come in.

At The Growth Guide, I combine my professional expertise, real-life experience, and passion for child development to support parents who are tired of just surviving. I’m here to help you reclaim clarity, confidence, and connection.

My Approach

What You Can Expect When Working With Me

I’m not a therapist or doctor, and I don’t prescribe solutions. Instead, I:

  • Listen to your challenges and goals.

  • Affirm your efforts as a parent.

  • Guide you with personalized, practical strategies tailored to your family’s needs.

Together, we’ll identify what’s working, adjust what’s not, and celebrate every step of progress along the way.
